This is a wing of the former mansion of Sir John Chesshyre. Brown brick and stone with slate roof. Now the Tricorn public house. Was a moated site. The former stables to Hallwood (photo on right), same date, sandstone with slate roof. These are now used as a function room for the "Tricorn".
