Runcorn Main Line Signalbox

Railway signal box built by the LMS (London Midland and Scottish Railway) in 1940 to ARP (Air Raid Precaution) design to withstand colateral bomb damage. Built in in red brick, with steel framed windows, reinforced concrete roof, and floor, (in the operations room). Still has its original 46 levers.
