Greenway Road, Runcorn in 1955 and today

Greenway Road

Looking down Greenway Road from the position of the War Memorial. The road bending to the left goes to Weston and Weston Point, and the road to the right is Moughland lane, which at this time was the main route out to Chester. The main change today is the absence of pedestrians and cyclists. The scarcity of cars is shown by the rather lazy way everyone is strolling about in the roadway.
